about
William’s keen appreciation for architecture manifests in the pictorial reconstruction of insentient structures into an ocular feast personified by mere lines, forms and textures. His photographs capture not only the architects’ exposition of the structure, but are also saturated with William’s personal interpretation of the immutable edifice encapsulated with the fleeting elements of light and time. The zenith of his achievement, however, is in his meticulous creation of an almost animate portrait simply from basic line, form and asymmetry in a structure we daily considered pedestrian.
